The catalogue displays a 1:1 facsimile of a textile work that was exhibited at Wasserburg Sachsenhagen in 2021. The work is based on the form of a painters wedge, a recurring theme in Kisners oevre, used to straighten the edges of a canvas frame.
Unlike in the exhibition, where the blanket is displayed stretched on a canvas and mounted on the wall like a painting, the catalogue shows both sides of the work, permitting a glimpse into the process of sewing together the individual pieces by hand.
